Nick: BlackBerries
Name: Nathan
Age: 17
Location: Bay area, California
I met Nathan a few months ago.
He came into my channel and we got to talking...and I found out he wrote
poetry. I asked to read some at that time and have been in awe of his writings
ever since. Nathan is a fantastic poet and I know one day he will have
a book published. He has already promised me a signed copy :) Nathan has
a very unique style of writing. Much of his poetry leans towards the darker
side which I believe is what intrigues me about it.
Nathan's favorite show is
Millenium. The music he prefers is mainly metal, goth, celtic genres, electronica
and alternative.
Nathan has been sweet enough
to include a poem for this page...as a small sample of his work.
*Destruction of Fear, Dedication to knowledge*
04-22-1999 Nathan Gray (c)
Running so gently against the summer heat,
raging against the corpulent hypocrisy.
Managing amidst strumming violins,
a pleasant song of vivid remorse.
Feeling a sacred celestial beauty in existing,
the ancient mystical wonders scream aloud,
Within the mind of entangled sunrises,
dense and illusionary pastures give rise.
For fear of not what ails, what scares, or
any such thing,
raging out against the inevitable, unsurpassable
wanderlust,
justification in life and anger and love join
as one.
In the stars at night, the sun and the clouds
of earth,
energy flows, as the sunlight glows.
Strength in the world, of a rare beauty.
The fear, apart of one's self, looking in
the mirror,
realizing what would come from a life gone.
Bold enlightened courage strives forth to
contrast that which defiles.
Goodness in one life, greatness in one word,
happiness not forgotten,
What surreal winds whip the transfigured lands.
Drained in death, a jubilant roar, conquers
the fear.
Embracing divinity as if it were real.
Human existence unfurls strange mysteries
again into tranquil answers.
